Earth Observation Handbook 2023: Space Data for the Global Stocktake
Ahead of COP-28 in Dubai in December 2023, CEOS, with the generous support of the European Space Agency (ESA), has put together a special edition of the EO Handbook to support the first Global Stocktake of the UNFCCC Paris Climate Agreement. It is a plain language guide to support stakeholders of all kinds in their understanding of EO’s relevance to their roles and obligations, and have access to further information, tools, and resources to investigate further.
The handbook can be accessed in two formats, online as a web version, available at eohandbook.com/gst, or in PDF format here. The sections and case studies can be read independently of one another – so feel free to dip in and out. We hope this is a great resource to help promote the use of Earth observations for climate.
