The 2nd Meeting of the CEOS Land Surface Imaging Virtual Constellation (LSI-VC)

Hosted by: The United States Geological Survey

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA

Venue: The Renaissance LAX Hotel.

The second meeting of the renewed LSI-VC is an opportunity to review our initial course and achievements, further the definition of working subgroups and delegate tasks accordingly, and to ensure that we are on track to deliver the expected results at the 2016 SIT Technical Workshop and CEOS Plenary. Key discussion topics will include:

  • The CEOS Land Surface Imaging Analysis-Ready Data definition;
  • LSI-VC activities in support of the CEOS Strategy for Carbon Observations from Space; and,
  • The LSI-VC Work Plan.

The meeting will take place over 2.5 days, facilitating travel on the Friday afternoon. A shuttle bus service between the airport and hotel is available upon request: +1 310 337 2800.
