Meeting objective
CEOS WGCapD-11 Virtual Meeting Group Photo
The objective of WGCapD-11 was:
- Gather regional priorities and challenges
- Build collective success stories for the next 5 years
- Build roadmaps to realize the success stories
The overarching priority is to facilitate the cooperation among WGCapD members fostering capacity-building and data democracy.

Meeting structure
WGCapD-11 took place from 22 February to the 25 February. The first day (22 February) was devoted to regional meetings. Each regional meeting had a duration of 1 hour and will be guided by a facilitator. Members from the region were particularly encouraged to attend, Members from other regions were welcome, in particular, those with ongoing activities in the region.
The plenary meetings took place from 23-25 February and each day had a total duration of 3 hours (13:00-16:00 UTC), including a 20-minute break. All WGCapD members and any other interested party were invited to attend.
The meeting was conducted using MS Teams.
