The CEOS MIM Database & EO Handbook
The Missions, Instruments & Measurements (MIM) Database details present and future satellites, instruments, and measurement capabilities.
The EO Handbook builds on the MIM Database to present satellite EO capabilities and applications.
CEOS Visualization Environment (COVE)
COVE is a browser-based suite of tools for searching, analyzing and visualizing actual and potential satellite sensor coverage.
ExploreEssential Climate Variable (ECV) Inventory
An inventory of CEOS Agency climate-monitoring datasets that address the ECVs associated with climate variation and change as well as the impact of climate change on Earth.
ExploreCEOS Analysis Ready Data (CEOS-ARD)
CEOS Analysis Ready Data (CEOS-ARD) are satellite data that have been processed to a minimum set of requirements and organized into a form that allows immediate analysis with a minimum of additional user effort and interoperability both through time and with other datasets.
ExploreCalibration/Validation (Cal/Val) Portal
The CEOS Cal/ValPortal provides support to worldwide activities on calibration and validation and specifically ensures the standardisation of sensor inter-calibration. The overall goal is to increase sensor measurement accuracy and increase inter-operability between Earth observation platforms.
ExploreCEOS and the UNFCCC Global Stocktake
This page provides an entry point for access to the datasets and guidance being developed by CEOS space agencies and partners in support of the goals of the Global Stocktake process of the Paris Climate Agreement.
ExploreCEOS Thematic Observation Coordination
CEOS coordination activities span a wide range of thematic areas and have over the years produced a number of milestone strategy documents. This page provides a summary overview of these thematic observing strategies and provides links to the relevant documents for reference.
ExploreGreenhouse Gas Observations Portal
The GHG Portal aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date list of all current and planned satellite missions with the ability to measure greenhouse gases. This includes those planned and operated by both public and commercial organisations, as well as NGOs.
ExploreCEOS and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Satellite Earth observations provide a unique view of our world and provide substantial amounts of data that facilitate new methods and provide new insights for the Sustainable Development Goals and their Indicators. CEOS is supporting the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) to advance the uptake of Earth Observations (EO) in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development. CEOS has selected a limited set of SDGs to focus initial efforts. It is expected this list will expand in time.
ExploreData Policy Portal
The CEOS Data Policy Portal captures the data access policies of all CEOS satellites and instruments in an effort to promote improved data access and data sharing principles.
ExploreFederated EO Gateway (FedEO)
FedEO (Federated Earth Observation missions access) provides a unique entry point to a growing number of scientific catalogues and services for, but not limited to, EO European and Canadian missions
ExploreInternational Directory Network (IDN)
The CEOS IDN is an international effort developed to assist researchers in locating information on available Earth science datasets and services.
ExploreTerms & Definitions Wiki
The Terms and Definitions Wiki is hosted on the CalVal Portal, and serves as a community resource to define important terms within the Earth observation domain.
