CEOS has the ability to create an Ad Hoc Team in the event that permanent mechanisms (Working Groups and Virtual Constellations) are insufficient for CEOS to undertake a particular activity. When creating an Ad Hoc Team, short-term objectives and the team’s lifetime are defined at the CEOS Plenary. An Ad Hoc Team reports to either the CEOS Chair or SIT Chair, depending on its purpose and function.
